About the Tournament
Since 2008 the Beth Whiteacre Memorial Golf Tournament has raised nearly $120,000 supporting cancer research. The golf tournament originally started to remember Beth Whiteacre has grown into a corporate event that draws many business leaders. The event is a unique experience because of the participation of many local business sponsorships. The golf tournament organizers take great pride in providing an exciting event that allows teams of four to have an enjoyable afternoon competing for prizes and raising money for life saving cures to blood cancers.
The mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS is the world's largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer. LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world and provides free information and support services. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society helps blood cancer patients live better, longer lives.
